+ Plus Magazine

Plus is an online magazine which aims to introduce readers to the beauty and the practical applications of mathematics. A lot of people don't have a very clear idea what "real" maths consists of, and often they don't realise how many things they take for granted only work because of a generous helping of it. Apparently, some people even have the idea that it's boring! Weird. Anyway, we hope that even if you're such a person now, you won't be after looking through one or two issues of Plus, and that you'll come back and read future issues as they come out.

Quanta Magazine

Quanta Magazine is an editorially independent online publication launched by the Simons Foundation to enhance public understanding of science. Why Quanta? Albert Einstein called photons “quanta of light.” Our goal is to “illuminate science.” Our reporters focus on developments in mathematics, theoretical physics, theoretical computer science and the basic life sciences.

Chalkdust

Chalkdust is a mathematics magazine. It’s not a journal, and it’s not a textbook. It’s a collection of articles, features and pictures that we think are interesting, fun, or thought-provoking. It is a place for five-minute articles over coffee, and fiendishly hard puzzles that will entertain you for a week. It’s a place for interviews with interesting people around our field, and getting relationship advice from dead mathematicians.
